Creative Development

Aimed at beginners and emerging electronic music artists, the programme offers mentorship to artists and their individual interests, needs and personal creative process, with our growing team of music producers, teachers and nurturing community. During 12 weeks, five selected artists will have access to private studio hours, one-on-one coaching with Isabassi, additional courses, workshops and performance night.

Sound Design

First lesson: FM synthesis Second lesson: Wavetable Synthesis Third lesson: DIY granular Fourth lesson : Multi-layer instruments Basic understanding of Ableton required.

Glitch Theory

1) BPM Glitch recording This topic will focus on the how to use your DAW BPM counter to create new and interesting rhythmical moments 2) Raw Data Import Using the free software Audacity to drag in EXE files and creating new sounds to process in your DAW 3) Generative MusicMusic that is ever-different and changing, and that is created by a system 4) LFO LFO LFO A topic we focus on making the most out of LFOs in Max 5) Feedback Software feedback to create movement and new sounds for your tracks 6) Grain control Using sampler in Ableton to create pads and bass, out of any sound
